Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of San Diego (City) is requesting proposals from highly qualified planning firms for consultant services for Southeastern San Diego Community Plan Update (H125615). The Southeastern San Diego Community Plan Update will be developed through a collaborative effort between City staff, community stakeholders and multi-disciplinary consulting team. This planning effort will result in two Community Plan updates one for Southeastern San Diego (west of Interstate 805) and one for Encanto Neighborhoods (east of Interstate 805). These updates will implement the 2008 General Plan and establishes specific goals policies related to the communities of Southeastern San Diego and the Encanto Neighborhoods. The community plan elements to be included in the update are: Land Use (Housing) Mobility Urban Design Economic Prosperity Public Facilities Services and Safety Recreation Conservation Noise Historic Preservation and Arts and Culture for each community planning area including Southeastern and Encanto Neighborhoods.
