The purpose of the Project is to assess arc flash and shock hazards, improve worker safety, and meet Cal/OSHA and NFPA 70E standards.The Project will require the following tasks:1. Conduct on-site data collection at each facility2. Develop single-line diagrams for each facility3. Perform system modeling utilizing approved arc flash analysis software4. Perform Short Circuit Studies, Protective Device and Equipment Evaluations, Protective Device Coordination Studies, and Arc Flash Risk Assessments5. Prepare draft and final reports6. Conduct an arc flash presentation/workshop with District staff7. Prepare and install arc flash and shock hazard labels at each facility8. Provide training for District staff9. Optional task to provide an Infrared Thermographic Survey of each facility10. Optional task to purchase and provide the District with a new/unused infrared camera and training per the specifications provided herein11. Optional task to conduct selective repair/ maintenance activities addressing current critical deficiencies at the District’s Request
