Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City is seeking vendor offerings for a full-featured SCADA/DMS to better manage the electric system’s network and system load. The SCADA/DMS will include features to allow monitoring of solar systems, electric vehicle charging and battery storage facilities. This request for proposal (RFP) will summarize the services being requested from qualified vendors and put forth questions related to product functionalities and costs. The City is looking to upgrade or replace an existing SCADA system to eventually expand functionality with full featured DMS. The initial focus will be on improving usability of the SCADA system, adding limited distribution automation, and expanding external system integrations. The City expects deployments to implement cybersecurity best practices and account for applicable NERC CIP requirements.
