The Contractor shall promptly remove and dispose of designated trees specified in Exhibit H, including all tree branches, trunks, surface roots, and debris from the field office parking lots and landscaping areas on the DMV’s properties. The surface stump shall be ground to twelve inches (12”) below the ground surface, avoiding contact with underground pipes. The Contractor shall remove the complete tree including tree branches, tree trunk, and tree surface roots. The Contractor shall remove the trees as directed by the DMV Project Manager. Dead trees that are designated for removal shall be cut to ground level and all stumps shall be ground to 12 inches below grade. The Contractor shall grind the stump and remove all trunk, stump, and branch debris from DMV property at no additional cost to the DMV. The Contractor shall fill in any stump holes with soil and compact with water to existing surface level
