The scope of work includes, but is not limited to rehabilitation of the Salt Works Pump Station including required site clearing and grubbing; demolition and removal of the existing pump station, existing generator, controls and 300-gal day tank, and fill box, including modifications to the existing subsurface concrete structure; construction of a new valve pit and meter pit; modification of an existing bypass pit, a six (6) ft diameter influent manhole; 18” PVC influent sewer; site piping improvements; installation of a new motor control center and all electrical work; special protective coatings; installation of a sound attenuated 125 kW engine generator; all surface improvements; site improvements; fencing and automatic gate; CMU retaining wall; drainage improvements; pavement restoration; temporary controls; temporary bypass pumping; nighttime pump station shutdowns as required; permit compliance; and all other work as shown on the Plans and as called for in the Special Provisions and as directed by the Engineer.
