The proposed BCMS solution must meet the following minimum requirements: 1. EHR Integration − SMART on FHIR Certification − BCMS must be certified using Substitutable Medical Applications and Reusable Technologies (SMART) on Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) for integration with Oracle/Cerner EHR and listed on the “Oracle Cloud Marketplace - Home” located at (https://cloudmarketplace.oracle.com). − The BCMS must interface with DHS’s EHR system (Oracle/Cerner) and be available on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace - Home website located at (https://cloudmarketplace.oracle.com) to enable: − Tracking of healing progression throughout treatment. − Efficient access to burn images. − The results or medical document from BCMS must be accessible either directly or through an embedded/secured link within Oracle/Cerner. 2. Single Sign-On (SSO) − BCMS must support user login through Single Sign-On (SSO). 3. Patient Burn Diagram (3D Avatar) − Must provide an editable, computer-generated complex digital 3D representation burn diagram representing a patient's entire body (3D Avatar) that’s used to: input, visualize, auto-calculate burn data and track patient care from referral to discharge. − 3D Avatar Requirements − Must include male, female, and pediatric 3D Avatars to display the Burn Surface Map (BSM). − Must have editable 3D Avatar based total body surface area (TBSA) calculator and all related calculations including Fluid resuscitation with automatic documentation and electronic registry filing. − Automated Lund & Browder chart per American Burn Association (ABA) requirements. − Body mass index (BMI) sensitive avatar for better accuracy and patient care − Tracking of patient progress from admission to discharge. − Output of the burn diagram and associated parameters must be in .PDF formatting; no other file formats will be accepted. − Treatment / Dressing Documentation - Platform allows nurses to record topical dressings directly on a 3D avatar of burn areas, including dressing type, change frequency, and last changed date/time for accurate and consistent care tracking. Allow manual Graphical mapping of Treatments/dressings on a 3D Avatar. − Total Body Surface Area (TBSA) Calculator & Fluid Resuscitation − Fluid resuscitation − Auto-documentation and registry submission 4. Historical Tracking - Must calculate and maintain a (Burn Surface Map) history of the following for each patient; - Pre-op/Post-op estimations for burn area (cm^2) - Graft loss calculations - Granular identification of procedures (Autograft, Allograft, Skin Subs, etc…) 5. Advanced Clinical Calculations − Real-time calculations for: o TBSA% o Burn surface area o Nutrition requirements o Mortality risk o % Wound closure o Body Mass Index (BMI) o Obesity-Sensitive TBSA o BMI-adjusted TBSA calculations.
