Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Ruth Bader Ginsburg (RBG) Monument Installation project intends to reactivate the public area near the Van Nuys Library with an interactive monument of the former Associate Justice of the Supreme Court (RBG Interactive Monument) . Site work is expected to include excavation, grading, and re-compaction in order to set up lighting, irrigation, landscaping, outdoor seating, including electrical power source, foundation padding and footing supports for the RBG Monument that is to be donated, transported and installed by artist Saya Woolfalk. Provision of irrigation, lighting, and power source (for the monument) may include trench digging and installation of underground insulated pipework from electrification source to the monument . T he construction phase of the installation project is anticipated to begin in Spring 2022 and construction is anticipated to conclude in Spring 2023.
