8. Detailed Description of Work to be Performed and Duties of all Parties: A. Contractor shall perform a thorough, quarterly inspection of the water chlorination system, water usage meters, system plumbing, chlorine analyzer, booster pumps, recycled water equipment and water storage tanks. B. Contractor shall provide 400 gallons of chlorine with 12.5% sodium hypochlorite to operate the water treatment plant. C. Contractor shall clean and disinfect the 20,000-gallon potable water storage tank once during the duration of the Agreement. D. Contractor shall request approval from Caltrans Contract Manager of all repairs in advance of repairs being performed. Contractor shall not begin any repairs and will not receive payment for any repairs prior to gaining written approval from Caltrans Contract Manager. E. Contractor shall be available Monday through Friday including weekends and holidays to provide emergency, on-call and non-routine services to the water chlorination system when the system shuts down, sends an operational alarm, and/or ceases potable water production. Caltrans Contract Manager will notify Contractor upon discovery of any water system problems.
