Contractor will: A. Design, manufacture, test, and deliver up to eight (8) complete sets of spare rotor field poles with universal configuration for use at various pumping plants throughout SJFD with plants containing motors ranging from 8,500 to 80,000 horsepower. Requirements of the work are described in Exhibit A, Attachment 1 – Technical Specifications. B. Design and manufacture special tools and spare parts for the above rotor field pole assemblies as detailed in Exhibit A, Attachment 1 – Technical Specifications. C. Perform acceptance testing on the field poles, as detailed in Exhibit A, Attachment 1 – Technical Specifications. D. Engineering drawing not available for any existing rotor field poles will need to be created along with reverse engineering the required materials for each of the components on the field poles. DWR’s Electrical Engineering Office will coordinate with personnel at the facility and Contractor to schedule and perform the necessary inspections to obtain measurements and information for Contractor to create the engineering drawings. E. A project report will be required for each set of rotor field poles to include engineering drawings, materials datasheets, Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) documentation, electrical and mechanical test reports, as detailed in Exhibit A, Attachment 1 – Technical Specifications.
