(1). The Contractor shall perform reroofing of existing building, including: a. Demolition of existing roofing and associated material. b. Remove metal flashing and replace with new. c. Install new PVC roofing system. d. Clear existing roof drains and overflows to their point of exit discharge at street level. e. Adjust height of HVAC curbs, remove, and reset equipment, ducts and piping. f. Add roof overflow drains adjacent to all roof drains. g. Remove and replace the roof hatch. Add Roof hatch guard rail. h. Replace conduits and conductors for roof mounted power distribution. i. Paint upper floor exterior walls. (2). Inspect roof sheathing and framing for damage. Any issues shall be immediately reported in writing to the DMV Project Manager. (3). Elevate roof drains and overflows as necessary. (4). Clean, patch, and repair any damage done to remaining items during the term of the Agreement and restore finishes of those remaining items. (5). Electrical disconnect to remain. (6). Paint roofing components as needed to return to pre-construction condition. (7). Maintain watertight building throughout construction. (8). The building will be occupied and operational during construction.
