General: A. Clean the roof and gutters of debris, leaves, and dirt. Ensure the roof is dry before starting the repair/installation. B. Repair two (2) of seven (7) Zones of Snow Melting Systems on North side of building. Use Thermo-Soft System or equivalent using four (4) 42” Loop. C. The existing Snow Melting System is to be abandoned in place. The existing cable through the roof is to be cut-in by using an approved weatherproof factory splice kit. Utilizing the existing Snow Melting Controller, conduit and wiring up to the cable through the roof at the point of cut-in. D. Install Roof Clips with Simpson XP Epoxy and one (1) each #12 Teks Screw with Rubber Gasket, which is approved for metal to concrete which works exceptionally well metal to metal. E. Roof measurements should be taken by contractor during bid walk through. F. The roofing repair work must be done accordance to industry standards using the very best material available and work done by competent individuals licensed and/or certified by the manufacturer.
