Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project scope shall include (1) providing demolition, alterations, and additions to the building's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire alarm, fire sprinkler, nurse call, video, and security systems; (2) new lighting; casework; data to support the network connection; (3) flooring; (4) ceilings; (5) glazing; doors and hardware; and (6) new MRI shielding, and lead shielding. All work shall occur in an occupied building with restricted hours to perform all noise-producing work and access areas below the Project Site. The project will be phased to maintain operations requiring night and/or weekend work to accommodate these work restrictions. Existing improvements impacted by the work would be restored. The project would install medical equipment that would be procured separately. The construction cost for the project is still unknown but anticipated to be approximately $4 to $5 million, pending further study.
