1) Contractor shall remove and legally dispose of the existing two (2) insulated sheet metal doors and install two (2) new metal sheet roll-up doors, each measuring 16' x 16', with openers, at Shoshone MS. Please see Attachment 2, Insulated Sheet Metal Doors. 2) Contractor shall install 13 garage door openers at the McGee Creek MS. 3) Contractor shall install three (3) garage door openers at the Minaret Satellite MS. 4) Contractor shall install seven (7) garage door openers at the Crestview Satellite MS. 5) Contractor shall install nine (9) garage door openers at the Lee Vining MS. 6) Contractor shall install seven (7) garage door openers at the Bridgeport MS. 7) Contractor shall install nine (9) garage door openers at the Sonora Junction MS. 8) New commercial-grade doors shall include electronically monitored reversing edge safety systems of proper size and design for the doors. 9) All door openers shall have stationary mounted controllers and also be remote controlled with electric motors. If applicable, existing wiring may be used. Contractor shall properly dispose of existing openers and provide two (2) remote controls per opener. 10) Roll-up door assemblies shall include all new parts installed, including motors. 11) All metal gauges shall have a minimum thickness of 24 gauge. 12) All hardware shall be commercial grade. 13) Finish shall be the manufacturer’s standard baked on polyester or epoxy prime and finish coats, applied to both interior and exterior faces. Finish color will be selected by Caltrans Contract Manager. 14) The commercial grade roll-up door assemblies shall be provided as a complete unit produced by a single manufacturer, including frames, sections, bracket guides, tracks, counterbalance mechanisms, hardware, operators, and installation accessories suitable for the opening and headroom. 15) Contractor shall install doors, tracks, and operating equipment, complete with necessary hardware, anchors, inserts, and equipment supports, in accordance with manufacturer’s installation instructions. 16) Contractor shall ensure all roll-up doors are properly closed at the end of each day.
