The City of Folsom is requesting proposals from qualified professional engineering firms to provide full-service design, environmental, right-of-way, permitting, and bid-phase services for the Riley Street Safety Improvement Project. This project aims to enhance pedestrian safety, ADA compliance, and overall connectivity along Riley Street, from Sutter Street to East Bidwell Street. The improvements are intended to provide a safe route to Sutter Middle School and create a pedestrian gateway between the Central Business District and the Historic District. The city envisions this project to include Complete Street elements, including features such as landscaping, public seating, and other pedestrian-friendly amenities to enhance the overall streetscape.
