Specifications include, but are not limited to: The San Juan Unified School District (“District”) is seeking to allow Retirement Advisory and Education Services firm(s) access to campus to perform retirement advisory and education on 403(b) and 457(b) Plans. The purpose of this RFQ is to allow Advisory Firms on campus to provide education for those that can support companies represented on our 403(b)- /457(b) approved vendor list. The District will not be adding any additional providers to this list at this point. Advisory Firms will have access to campus, for those sites that allow and welcome outside vendors, and can meet with employees (that choose to meet with vendors) regarding their retirement needs and provide financial literacy to the employees of the District. Awarded Advisory Firms may have access to our campuses. The District’s 457 and 403(b) tax-deferred investment program is funded exclusively from voluntary salary reductions agreements made by the District’s employees. The District anticipates the selected firm(s) to begin services in summer of 2017, which is subject to change at the District’s discretion.
