The City seeks a qualified property management firm to maintain safe, habitable, and well-managed housing in compliance with applicable laws, the Vernon Municipal Code (VMC), and City and Vernon Housing Commission (VHC) policies and procedures; to provide responsive and professional customer service to tenants and the City; to maximize rent collection while minimizing vacancies and bad debt through effective marketing, screening, and tenant retention strategies; to deliver transparent, auditable financial statements and performance reporting; and to ensure full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and VHC housing requirements, including fair housing and landlord-tenant laws.
