Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. After receiving the Notice to Proceed from Caltrans Contract Manager, Contractor shall contact Caltrans Contract Manager within five (5) business days to schedule a pre-work meeting. The pre-work meeting may occur via telephone conference or in person, and its purpose shall be to establish the work schedule. B. Once started, all work must be completed within 30 business days, unless otherwise approved, in writing, by Caltrans Contract Manager. C. Phase One (1) – District Office Facility 1) Phase One (1) shall be performed at the location listed within this Exhibit A, Item 2(A). 2) Contractor shall remove and legally dispose of the existing gate operator. 3) Contractor shall furnish and install a new LiftMaster gate operator, Model Number CSL24UL, or equivalent one-half (1/2) horsepower gate operator compatible with existing Stanley Pac 512 access controller (Model Number 27053). Equivalent products shall be determined in accordance with this Exhibit A (Scope of Work), Item 6(E). D. Phase Two (2) – Shop 9 Facility 1) Phase Two (2) shall be performed at the location listed within this Exhibit A, Item 2(B). 2) Contractor shall remove and legally dispose of the existing gate operator. 3) Contractor shall furnish and install a new LiftMaster gate operator, Model Number CSL24UL, or equivalent one-half (1/2) horsepower gate operator compatible with existing Stanley Pac 512 access controller (Model Number 28155). Equivalent products shall be determined in accordance with this Exhibit A (Scope of Work), Item 6(E). 4) Contractor shall furnish and install a new photo eye stop sensor system. 5) Contractor shall furnish and install a new rear safety edge on the existing gate. 6) Contractor shall furnish and install chain-link, as needed, on tail section of existing gate to ensure exposed areas are closed. A single piece of chain-link shall be utilized to close gate [approximately six-feet (6’) high and three-feet (3’) wide]. Contractor furnished chain-link shall match existing gate.
