This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-05 (effective 08/07/2025). The NAICS code is 561621, Security Systems Services, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction with an associated small business size standard of $25M. This solicitation is for a service, is a 100% total small business set-aside, and will result in a firm fixed price contract to a single contractor determined to be responsive and responsible. The Government will consider past performance in determining responsibility.
DESCRIPTION: Contractor/Vendor will replace the fire suppression and alarm systems in selected buildings at Pinnacles National Park (PINN), located in Paicines, CA. The purpose of this project is to upgrade fire protection systems to meet current fire safety codes and standards, ensuring enhanced safety and compliance. The work will include the removal of outdated fire suppression and alarm systems, installation of new systems, and verification of functionality and compliance. The scope of work will encompass the following: (a) Removal and disposal of outdated fire suppression and alarm systems, (b) Installation of new fire sprinkler and fire alarm/detection systems, (c) Ensuring compliance with NFPA standards, National Park Service (NPS) Reference Manual 58 (RM-58), and other relevant codes, (d) Conducting hydrant flow testing and verification of water supply adequacy, and (e) Performing system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality. NOTE: This description only provides a brief summary of the project. Quoters shall refer to full details described in Attachment no. 3, Statement of Work.
