A. Rental Haul Trucks with Operator shall be utilized as needed by County to meet routine and major projects, as well as emergency commitments. B. A large percentage of the work will consist of hauling dirt, silt, rocks and/or other material as requested by County to and from flood control channels, basins, landfill and road maintenance work at various facilities Countywide. C. Work may be requested under routine daily operations and/or in the event of emergency operations. Therefore, rental haul trucks with operator may be required in areas of limited access and under adverse conditions such as day and night operations, during rain, fire and/or any storm related events. D. Rental equipment will be intended to supplement the department’s fleet as needed and no guarantee of usage will be given.
