The project team will review background materials, including local and regional plans, past studies, transportation plans, and approved/planned development projects. This information is essential to develop the framework for subsequent tasks within this scope of the work. The project team will conduct a project kickoff meeting with the Consultant. The Consultant will provide documentation of the kick-off meeting. Key stakeholders will be included in the kick-off meeting. This task will also include regular check-in meetings and project management tasks. The project team will develop schematics for up to three (3) concept alternatives. This task may include a tiered approach to identify a range of alternatives and evaluate those alternatives based on preliminary information. The team will then conduct a fatal-flaw analysis to remove alternatives that do not meet the purpose and need of the project.
