The following specifications define the minimum labor requirements for the removal and replacement of a knuckle boom crane on a 33,000 GVWR Freightliner 114SD – VIN: 1FVACXBS18HZ78429. The scope of work shall include, but not be limited to, vendor disposal and recycling, inspection and potential reuse of the subframe, installation of the new crane assembly, replacement of hose assemblies, installation of a new PTO and pump, replenishment of hydraulic oil, and completion of operational load stability testing and certification. _____Operate and position existing crane for optimal lifting and handling once crane is disabled for removal. _____Disconnect electrical and hydraulic inputs to current articulating crane and label each. _____Drain and dispose of hydraulic oil from crane reservoir into suitable container for recycling/disposal. _____Cap hose ends, shut tank valve. _____Remove fixing rods from crane and truck frame, prep for lifting crane from truck and subframe weldment. _____Remove old crane and components. _____Replace PTO, pump, and hoses for use with new crane. _____Remove and inspect subframe weldment, steam clean, and inspect for cracks, fatigue, wear
