The work consists of furnishing all equipment, materials, labor, travel and incidentals necessary to perform refuse collection and disposal service at the California National Guard Combined Support Maintenance Shop (CSMS) – Long Beach, CA for the period of 24 months. Conduct bi-weekly pick-ups of bins, transportation, and disposal of waste, ONCE (1) every other week. Actual pickup day to be coordinated with CM, and is subject to change for operational needs, but will be scheduled on a reoccurring basis (i.e. currently scheduled service is every TUESDAY in the AM). Contractor agrees to make reasonable accommodations on pick-up day and time window to align with the CMD’s business hours of 8:00am-4:30pm. All containers shall be of standard commercial design without holes, with wheels, and locking brakes in good working order. Contractor will maintain containers in complete serviceable condition at all times. 1. During the term of service, the contractor shall inspect all containers at the time of service. 2. Any containers found to no longer be in good order shall be repaired or replaced by the Contractor without any additional cost to CMD. 3. In the event the CM notifies Contractor that a container needs to be repaired or replaced, Contractor agrees repair or replace the container within 72 hours of notification at no additional cost to CMD.
