The City of Carlsbad (City) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide construction management and inspection services during the pre-construction, construction, and close-out phases of Citywide Electrical Control Panel Replacement Project for Water and Wastewater Facilities (Project). Services will also include special electrical inspection of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system installations. The firm to be awarded a contract shall be known as the “Consultant,” and shall be retained through the completion of the Project, including any contract time extensions. The Consultant shall propose one lead individual, the Construction Manager/Sr. Construction Inspector who shall assume overall responsibility for all construction management and inspection services and who shall be available to report directly to the City’s Municipal Projects Manager in the Construction Management and Inspection Department. Construction inspection services will be performed by the Construction Manager/Sr. Construction Inspector and may require additional support from other Consultant inspectors to cover multiple work sites and activities or day/night shift operations.
