• The vendor shall provide all equipment, labor, and material necessary to remove and replace the existing roofing system at the Lynwood Fire Prevention Office Building. • Specs of all materials being installed must be submitted and approved before installation. • All work shall comply with the Los Angeles County Fire Department Specifications and all applicable codes and regulations. The vendor is also responsible for ensuring that all subcontractors have also read the Scope of Work and LACoFD Specifications. • The vendor shall provide daily updates to the LACoFD Project Manager. • The vendor is responsible for pulling and paying for all applicable permits and/or licenses required for this project. Work on this project shall not start prior to receiving the permit and no final payment will be issued without the signed and approved copy of the permit. • The vendor shall provide equipment, labor and material to remove the existing roofing system at the Lynwood Fire Prevention Office Building. • The vendor shall expose roof sheeting and confirm structural integrity. Replacement will be “as needed” or “as directed” with 5/8” sheeting and underlayment and a Change Order shall be issued. • The vendor shall provide equipment, labor and material to install John Manville 60 Mil TPO Single Ply Roofing System with ¼” Dexcell Board or equivalent and all other System related accessories as per manufacturer’s instruction. • The vendor shall replace all wooden sleepers and install new polymer roof top sleepers. • The vendor shall provide equipment, labor and material to install new flashing, throughout to include caps on parapet walls, penetrations, HVAC. All flashing to be prefinished. • The vendor shall provide equipment, labor and material to remove scupper drains and inspect drainpipes internal to the walls of the Fire Prevention Office Building. Replace scupper drains and pipes as necessary with new drainpipe. • The vendor shall provide equipment, labor and material to repair and paint drywall/stucco for drainpipe replacement. • The vendor shall provide equipment, labor and material to barricade, cover and always protect the work area during construction. • The vendor shall coordinate work with the onsite LACoFD Project Manager to assure Fire Station operations are not interrupted. • The vendor shall make sure that all doors are secured after business hours. • Any inadvertent property damage caused in the course of work shall be repaired and/or replaced by the vendor. • Any items not specified on this scope of work need to be approved and coordinated through the Project Manager.
