Specifications include, but are not limited to: The two roads in Lockwood Valley area under PWA-RT jurisdiction are 26.47 miles of Lockwood Valley Road and 2.84 miles of Boys Scout Camp Road. These two roads are located in the northern part of Ventura County and not close to the other roads in the county that are within PWA-RT jurisdiction. PWA-RT is looking for assistance for the regular maintenance of this roadway including shoulder and ditch maintenance, minor hand patching/pavement repairs, Storm debris removal and other minor repairs as listed in the attached list of work needed (Bid 6047 Specifications). In addition, these roadways gets 8-9 incidents of 3”-4” snow fall every year which requires snow plowing and sanding on the roadways. PWA-RT’s intent is not to have the selected vendor maintain all aspects of these two roadway, but to assist PWA-RT staff in effectively maintaining this road. An approximate amount of work needed annually is included in the list. The amount of work needed is based on a 3-year average.
