The County of Riverside Purchasing, on behalf of its internal division of Fleet Services, is soliciting quotations for Automotive Upfitting, Maintenance, and Repair Services for fleet vehicles owned and operated by the Fleet Services Department (herein Fleet or County) as detailed in this RFQ for the purpose of augmenting current services provided by County personnel within Fleet. Riverside County is the 4th largest county in the continental United States. The current population is 2.471 million. In order to provide adequate service to its citizens, the County has offices located throughout its jurisdiction, often separated by extensive distances. Fleet owns and maintains a vehicle fleet that includes various models of passenger cars and light trucks, as well as various medium to heavy duty vehicles and equipment. These vehicles include miscellaneous emergency services vehicles, general purpose fleet cars, light trucks, and miscellaneous medium and heavy-duty vehicles at various locations throughout the County. Some of the vehicles are alternative/multi-fuel or diesel powered.
