Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Victorville Water District (District) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for the development of a Risk and Resilience Assessment and a corresponding Emergency Response Plan in compliance with the American Water Infrastructure ACT (AWIA) (S.3021, Law 115-270). Per Section 2013 of Title II, the AWIA requires utilities to conduct a Risk and Resilience Assessment (RRA) of their community water systems and develop a corresponding Emergency Response Plan (ERP). Upon completion of the RRA and the ERP, the utility is to submit self-certification to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) showing compliance with each portion of the federal mandate.
