• Plan Check Review; and • Building Inspections. Respondents may choose to provide services in one or both areas. Respondents for plan check review should demonstrate a capacity to provide staff with experience reviewing construction plans and familiar with the Title 24 California Building Standards Code. Likewise, respondents offering to provide inspection services should demonstrate experience applying the building code to various projects. The intent is to have contracts in place with qualified firms to provide competent, reliable, skilled on-call staff who can complete the processing of a subset of the City’s case total in a rapid, efficient manner on an as-needed basis. Successful respondents will provide on-call personnel who are skilled, punctual, responsible, and knowledgeable in their assigned area.
