1. DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL • Remove existing wall measuring approximately 10’ (length) x 8’-6” (height). • Remove existing metal frame door. • Remove existing 2’-6” x 4’ window assembly. • All demolition and removal shall comply with California Building Code (CBC) Section 3303 (Demolition), including dust control, protection of adjacent finishes, and proper disposal of materials at approved facilities. 2. WALL & FINISHES • Patch all areas impacted by removal in accordance with CBC Chapter 7 (Fire and Smoke Protection Features). • Apply matching wall texture to blend with existing surfaces. • Paint all repaired and affected surfaces to match existing office finishes, using California Department of Public Health (CDPH) VOC standards for low-emission paints. 3. ELECTRICAL • Install one (1) new 15-amp power outlet in the southeast corner of the office and in compliance with California Electrical Code (CEC) Article 210. • Reconfigure lighting: tie existing ceiling lights in this office to the adjacent office light circuit for consistent operation, in compliance with CEC Title 24, Part 6 (Energy Code) lighting requirements. • All electrical work must be performed by a California licensed C-10 electrical contractor.
