Specifications include, but are not limited to: The CDFW seeks a Permittee who can conduct a vegetation disposal operation on the Premises that will be consistent with HJWA’s overall goals of conserving unique botanical and wildlife resources for ecological value and public use, while providing suitable winter range for the Loyalton-Truckee Deer herd. Vegetation disposal on the Premises will be expected to follow the general guidelines described in the Land Management Plan for the HJWA which can be found at Hallelujah Junction Wildlife Area Land Management Plan or provided upon request. A long-term objective of the CDFW is to continue to use vegetation disposal activities to encourage and support botanical resources, as well as reduce fuels and the spread of invasive fire adapted species that displace native flora at the Premises.
