Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Security Division has built a robust security system including physical security, access control, cameras, multiple maritime related sensors, and an expansive communication infrastructure. The Division’s goals are to keep technology on the cutting edge and to take advantage of emerging technologies.The Security Division seeks proposals from qualified contractors to design and build enhancements and repairs to the Port’s Fiber-Optic Network (FON). The general scope of work is defined in this RFP. Upon execution of a design-build agreement, the Security Division will request detailed design and cost proposals for specific scopes of work on an on-call basis. The Port approved design and cost proposals will initiate Task Orders by which work will be conducted.
