Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of Sonoma Regional Parks Department is pleased to invite you to respond to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Targeted Grazing in Sonoma County Regional Parks. Sonoma County Regional Parks is soliciting proposals for as-needed targeted grazing services in various Parks properties over a five-year term beginning in early 2024. The result of the solicitation will be an Open Scope Agreement with the selected applicants. OVERVIEW- Parks Department is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified targeted grazing operators who wish to enter a five-year contract, with the possibility of up to two extensions not to exceed three years each, to provide seasonal targeted grazing services in various Parks properties throughout Sonoma County. Properties are suitable for grazing by sheep, goats, cattle, and mixed herds, and Parks welcomes proposals from targeted grazing operators with any of these types of livestock. All work under the resulting Open Scope Agreement will be initiated by a Parks Project Manager via telephone, email, or regular mail with individual operators. Specific details of each work assignment will be determined during project initiation, including Park location, treatment areas, treatment goals, scope of work and schedule. Specific project scopes will be documented in writing at the time of initiation.
