The selected contractor shall provide as-needed pavement striping, roadway markings, and curb paint maintenance services throughout the City of Commerce. Services are intended to enhance roadway visibility, promote traffic safety, and maintain compliance with state and local standards. Work will be assigned on a task-order basis and may occur on public streets, alleys, and City-owned facilities. The work shall include, but is not limited to: • Mobilization to various locations within City limits, as directed by Public Works staff • Removal and surface preparation of existing striping or markings, where applicable • Installation or re-striping of: o Lane lines, centerlines, and edge lines o Crosswalks, stop bars, arrows, and legends o Bike lanes, sharrows, and other specialty markings • Curb painting for red, blue, yellow, and white zones • Application of thermoplastic or traffic-grade paint to match existing • Placement of reflective markers (RPMs) and raised pavement markings • Temporary traffic control and signage in accordance with the California MUTCD • Site cleanup and debris removal upon completion of work
