The City of Commerce (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified and licensed contractors to provide on-call electrical maintenance, repair, and installation services for City-owned buildings and facilities on an as-needed basis. The selected contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform services that include, but are not limited to: • Troubleshooting and repair of electrical circuits, lighting systems, and electrical panels • Installation or replacement of electrical outlets, switches, wiring, breakers, and conduits • Preventive maintenance and inspections of existing systems • Emergency response for power outages, equipment failures, and other urgent needs • Installation or retrofitting of energy-efficient lighting systems and fixtures • Upgrades or modifications to existing electrical systems to meet current codes or operational needs • Coordination with utility companies or third-party vendors when necessary • Maintenance and servicing of generators, backup systems, or Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems where applicable
