The selected Proposer shall use new and existing hardware to perform the following functions: ● Bus Global Positioning System (GPS) Tracking ● Computer-Aided Dispatching (CAD)/ Automatic Vehicle Location System (AVL) ● Automatic Passenger Counting ● Automatic Voice Annunciation ● Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs) ● Onboard Routers ● Public Service Announcements Display (PSA) and Route Destination Displays ● Bike Counters ● Cameras ● Wi-Fi The selected Proposer shall also use existing and new software to provide services, including: ● Website for a public portal ● Data storage ● Real-time bus arrival information ● Coordination with the LADOT Transit Services contractor(s) (to be procured through a separate solicitation) to provide the LADOT Transit Mobile Application, to provide access to portals, data feeds, Application Programming Interface (API), or other tools to display real-time bus locations and arrivals, alerts, and other information created in response to the scope of work outlined in this RFP ● Tools for advanced transit planning, including modeling bus routes and travel times ● Tools to track service and vehicle performance and data metrics collected
