Specifications include, but are not limited to: Delta Pond Pump Station: The Delta Pump Station delivers pressurized reclaimed water from Delta Pond to the West College mainline and does not have an emergency generator. It is accessed through the SCWA flood control road on the SW side of Santa Rosa Creek. 12kv power is supplied to the Delta Pump Station through the PG&E overhead power lines from Hall Road. During winter storms the SCWA flood control road into Delta may be too flooded for vehicle access. This project will provide the necessary standby emergency power capabilities in an effort to keep valves and controls operational in the event of a power failure. The generator will only supply emergency power for valves/actuators and SCADA/communication. LTP Process Boiler #1: The process Heat Reservoir Supply (HRS) and Heat Reservoir Return (HRR) System located at the LTP take heat generated by either the CHP engines or the plant boilers and transports the heated water to heat the digesters. There are two gas-fired boilers: Fire-Tube Boiler 4,184,000 BTU/hr and Fire-Tube Boiler 3,638,000 BTU/hr. The boilers are used as a secondary source of heat and are required to operate when heating demands are high or in the event that the CHP engines are not running. Both boilers were installed in 1990 with one currently non-operational as it has failed Air Board emission test requirements. One boiler is non-operational and the other is experiencing operational issues during use. The boilers have reached the end of their service life and require replacement. The replacement project scope will replace the two boilers and associated plumbing and electrical appurtenances. Alternative boiler types/fuel sources and controls will be explored in a cost/benefit analysis.
