Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of Kern, through KernBHRS, is seeking information from qualified organizations to provide Residential Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services. Residential type of services will be provided to youth ages 12-17, pregnant/post-partum women, and adults 18 and older who have a substance use disorder and qualify for residential treatment under American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria. Qualified provider(s) shall provide these services in a welcoming, recovery-oriented, family inclusive, culturally competent, and co-occurring capable manner. The levels of service will be delivered in accordance with the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria. Residential Levels of Care are as follows: 3.1 Clinically Managed Low-Intensity Residential. 3.3 Clinically Managed Population Specific High Intensity Residential. 3.5 Clinically Managed High-Intensity Residential- Adult. 3.5 Clinically Managed High-Intensity Residential- Adolescent. 3.2 WM Clinically Managed Residential Withdrawal Management.
