Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1. The Residential Broadband Service mustbe reliable, scalable, commercially supported, and is not limited to any specific manufacturer or wireless standard. 1.2. LAUSD intends to award multiple Broadband Service Providers through this RFP process. 1.3. The scope includes provisioning and installing a “turn-key” solution including all necessary labor, equipment, and broadband services at various residential locations on behalf of LAUSD. 1.4. The primary goal is to be able to offer and provide Residential Broadband Service to LAUSD’s K-12 Student household that have been identified as in need of such services. 1.5. Residential Broadband Services may commence upon award of contract(s) through June 30, 2022 and LAUSD will coordinate all associated administrative work, including but not limited to sign-up, activations and billing processes, with each selected Broadband Service Provider.
