The purpose of this program is to increase the capacity of the Resident Leadership Academy (RLA) network, encourage civic engagement among disenfranchised communities and support resident-driven community improvement projects that advance the vision of Live Well San Diego. Contractor shall serve as the conveners of the Resident Leadership Academy (RLA) network, through coordination of RLA Council meetings, RLA Facilitator Trainings, and Supplemental Trainings. Additionally, Contractor shall support continuing efforts by resident led groups to effect positive change in neighborhoods by providing technical assistance and other support services to the RLA Network. The concepts of civic engagement and of relationship building through resident-led community improvement efforts supports the development of equitable, resilient and thriving communities.
