Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of General Services (DGS), Real Estate Services Division (RESD), Project Management and Development Branch (PMDB) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from Architectural and Engineering firms; Provide professional architectural and engineering services for the California Department of Education, State Special Schools Division, California School for the Deaf Riverside (CSDR) Athletic Complex Project. The scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, demolition; replacement and expansion of sports fields (such as a soccer field); football field; eight (8) lane all-weather track; baseball field; softball field; practice field; fencing; and related infrastructure. - Project also includes bleachers, Photovoltaic Systems, field lighting, enclosed dugouts, batting/pitching cages, shot put, long jump, high jump, discus, drinking fountains, electronic messaging, flagpoles, three (3) scoreboards, a press booth and a scorekeeper’s booth. Support buildings include restrooms, safety and security staff locations, ticket booth, concession area, and storage areas. A secured equipment storage area with separated areas for track/soccer/football equipment storage and grounds equipment storage will be built adjacent to the football field. Various fencing with access control and CCTV’s throughout the complex will be needed along with new pedestrian lighting, an exterior walkway around the entire complex, and an access road are all to be included. Sitework includes landscaping using native and drought tolerant plantings with a renovated water conservation irrigation system. Additional parking spaces, and walkways will also be constructed. The successful firm shall provide professional architectural and engineering design, and additional services as required, for the above-referenced design-bid-build project. The services may include, but not be limited to, reports, assessments, studies, preliminary plans, working drawings, performance criteria, cost estimates, constructability reviews, bidding solicitation support, and design bid build construction support. All work shall be performed under and be approved by design professionals licensed in the State of California.
