Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Pacifica is looking for an experienced and qualified professional to manage the Calera Creek Water Recycling Plant (CCWRP). City of Pacifica is currently completing a Wastewater Capital Improvements Program (CIP) which consisting of upgrades to the UV Disinfection system at Calera Creek Water Recycling Plant, and the city needs an experienced wastewater professional to manage the operations and maintenance at CCWRP during this capital improvements project. It is expected that this position will be at minimum 3 days (24 hours) per week and up to 5 days (40 hours) per week. Consultant reports directly to the Deputy Director of Public Works - Wastewater andperforms a variety of wastewater treatment plant management work but not limited to plantoperation, maintenance, and laboratory with some direction and oversight. Consultant will also participate in all of the WWTP CIP projects. The CIP includes work on major improvements at the Calera Creek Water Recycling Plant. Work shall include but not belimited to:•Managing plant operation group.• Managing plant maintenance group.•Managing laboratory group.•Support the on-going WWTP CIP projects.•W riting City Council staff reports. Consultant may make oral presentations before theCity Council and various commissions and committees.
