1. Vendor shall notify plant chief engineer 5 days prior to the first day of work initiation. 2. Vendor shall implement proper lock-out tag-out procedures for all utilities on both the secondary chilled water pumps and current VFDs before commencing work. 3. Vendor shall ask authorization and notify chief/assistant engineer ahead of time if there will be any operational shutdown or any disruption at the chiller plant. 4. Vendor shall safely secure all relevant isolation valves. 5. Vendor shall be responsible for the transport delivery, set up, removal/breakdown, and transport of all equipment to and from site. 6. Vendor shall disconnect all electrical cables and conduits from the current VFDs. 7. Vendor shall dismantle and remove cabinets housing current VFDs. 8. Vendor shall remove associated control wiring from current VFDs. 9. Vendor shall disconnect and unmount current VFDs. 10. Vendor shall install new VFDs at the provided space that former equipment occupied. 11. Vendor shall connect line power to new VFDs and output to the secondary chilled water pump motors. 12. Vendor shall connect control wirings for BACnet / Modbus for Delta controls BMS. 13. Vendor shall connect all I/O from sensors, alarms and other external interface. 14. Vendor shall power up and commission new VFDs and verify correct start-up and pump motor direction. 15. Vendor shall program operational parameters for secondary chilled water pumps’ requirements. 16. Vendor shall test and verify VFDs during full operating conditions to observe sensors and alarm functions. 17. Vendor shall clean, remove debris from the work site, and dispose of old VFD equipment and enclosures. 18. Vendor shall provide onsite training for the engineering staff. 19. Final job walk. 20. Final job sign off.
