Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit sealed proposals from qualified firms to establish a contract to conduct a Hazardous Materials Commodity Flow Study to evaluate the products that come into and pass through Henrico County and the greater Richmond Metropolitan area so that current training , equipment, and response policies and procedures can be evaluated and revised as necessary to ensure adequate response capabilities. The County participates in the Virginia Department of Emergency Management Regional Hazardous Materials Response Team System. This allows immediate response to incidents within the County as well as surrounding jurisdictions. Data collected in this study will be shared with all surrounding jurisdictions
