The County of San Diego (County) invites interested organizations to submit responses to a Request for Information (RFI) to provide input on the provision of Recuperative Care and Substance Use Recovery Treatment Services that are intended to provide integrated, short-term residential support for individuals recovering from acute medical conditions and/or managing substance use conditions, many of whom also experience co-occurring mental health conditions. By combining recuperative care and substance use treatment services within one facility, the aim is to promote coordinated, person-centered care and support a swift transition between levels of care, particularly for individuals with substance use conditions, thus enhancing continuity, stability, and long-term recovery outcomes.
