By way of this Request for Qualifications/Request for Proposals (“RFQ/RFP”), the Rancho Santiago Community College District (“District”) is requesting Statements of Qualifications and Proposals (“Responses”) from qualified, California-licensed real estate brokers to provide professional consulting and brokerage services related to the purchase, sale, and lease of real property by the District (“Services”). The Services will include advisory services and assistance in identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and finalizing real estate transactions in a manner that aligns with the District’s objectives, requirements, Board Policies and Administrative Regulations. The purpose of this RFQ/RFP is to obtain information that will allow the District to select a qualified firm (“Consultant” or “Firm”) to provide Services on behalf of the District in accordance with Government Code section53060 which allows public agencies to contract with independent contractors for special services and advice in financial, economic, accounting, engineering, legal, or administrative matters. The District reserves the right and discretion to determine if any Responses will be utilized to add firms to the list of pre-qualified Firms for future RFPs
