Phase 1: Design Drawings/Submittals Phase 2: Point of Connection/Hot Tap The Contractor shall connect/tie into existing underground water supply line and provide a gate valve that will provide water for the deluge fire protection system. Phase 3: Water Based Deluge Fire Protection System at Natural Gas Tanks The Contractor shall install all materials necessary to provide a completed Water Based Deluge FPS at the Synthetic Natural Gas back-up site located outside the Lethal Electrified Fence (LEF). The Contractor shall utilize CCM provided eight-inch (8”) C900 pipe crossing under the LEF from inside to outside the institution. Phase 4: Testing, Acceptance and Training The Contractor shall also provide: a) Design, materials and installation that conform to applicable Codes and Regulations and as identified in the project Plans and Specifications. b) Design based on as-built conditions and field conditions. c) Be present for and perform all Acceptance and Testing of equipment and devices with the Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM). d) Work with the CCM Site Supervisor and cooperate with CDCR staff and all trades during all phases of work to resolve design or field conflicts. e) Technical support and a minimum of eight (8) hours of factory certified training on operation and maintenance to CDCR staff, upon project completion. f) Provide final as-built documents, and Operations and Maintenance data at completion of project.
