WETA is seeking R99 Ultra Low Sulfur Red Dye Distillate fuel delivery services from qualified individuals or firms (Proposers). In order to operate WETA’s fleet of fast passenger-only ferries on its North Bay and Central Bay routes, the service requires approximately 3,700,000 gallons of fuel on an annual basis as follows: • Annual fuel delivery to WETA’s North Bay facility located in Vallejo, CA runs at 2,000,000 gallons, with 7,500 gallons typically delivered each weekday (Mon-Fri). On occasion an extra fuel delivery may be requested, or a regular delivery may be cancelled based on operational needs of the fleet. • Annual fuel delivery to WETA’s Central Bay facility located in Alameda, CA runs at 1,700,000 gallons, typically delivered four days per week (Mon-Sat). Exact days for delivery will be provided by the Central Bay staff to the Contractor’s dispatching office. On occasion an extra fuel delivery may be requested, or a regular delivery may be cancelled based on operational needs of the fleet.
