The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Arizona Water Science Center Hydrologic Research and Investigations section requires the use of Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) system that allows for scanning channel surfaces submerged under water. Bathymetric LiDAR that works on a wavelength (1550nm) is required, as that allows for such water penetration to accurately detect the bed surface of a channel containing water.
The USGS is conducting market research to determine the availability of qualified businesses capable of providing this service. Proposed vendor must be capable of performing the service in the Statement of Work within the time frame August 2025 - December 2025.
This sources sought announcement is not a request for quote or proposal and the Government is not committed to award of a purchase order or contract pursuant to this announcement. The information resulting from this market research is simply for planning purposes to assist the Government in determining its acquisition strategy. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in the preparation of information for responding to this notice.
