This project consists of supplying all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the exterior siding replacement of 4 two-story buildings and 1 single-story building. • Contractor shall provide any and all drawings as deemed necessary to obtain all required permits (design-build). • Remove existing damaged wood siding and all wood trim at doors, windows, etc. • Provide and install Diamond Wall One Coat System over metal lath over approved weather barrier, 3/8” min. base coat. Minimum of 2 colors per building. • Provide backing where wood trim is removed. • Provide and install weep screed as required per California Residential Code and/or City of Delano ordinance. • Provide and install control joints (vertical and horizonal), 100 sq. ft. max area. • Provide and install plaster stops at eve conditions and/or fascia boards. • Replace deteriorated fascia boards with new to match existing size and shape. • Paint all new and/or existing fascia boards (both sides) overhangs, min 2 coats. • Paint all stair railings, guardrails and patio screen wall, min 2 coats. • Remove and replace all windows and screens. • New windows shall comply with California's Title 24 building energy efficiency standards, maximum U-factor of 0.30 and a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) of 0.23. Windows shall be dual-glazed and meet the Low-E2 standard. • Patch existing interior wall finish as required for the new window installation. • Contractor shall remove and reinstall existing window coverings.
