Specifications include, but are not limited to: The California State Lottery (Lottery) is inviting responses from qualified vendors to conduct quantitative consumer research (English Only) studies specifically utilizing spending exercises/market simulations with the following objectives. For Scratchers® concept testing: Gain insights into which Scratchers® concept has the greatest potential sales and profit gains if launched. Estimate incremental concept trial, playership, sales, profits, and cannibalization at other price points or within the price point from each of the concepts. Compare trial, appeal, and interest among the concepts and explore why players liked/disliked them. Any other secondary objectives which may be required based on the specific Scratchers® concepts being tested. For Other Market Simulation testing: Objectives to be determined on a project-by-project basis but shall be similar in breadth and detail to those listed above for Scratchers® concept testing. At the Lottery’s request, the Contractor may be required to provide additional associated services in support of quantitative spending exercise/market simulation research services.
